Hidden Valley Park, May 6

A reason for spending time in nature can be to reflect on the signs in Allah's creation. I looked in the Book of Intentions by al-Habib Muhammad bin Alawi al-Aydarus (may Allah spread his benefit) to see if there were more intentions I could add to my outings.

One of the intentions relates to taking part in wholesome leisure activities to amuse, refresh and revive one's self in case of boredom and exhaustion. This in turn could help one in seeking the Truth and increasing one's worship of Allah.

The below photos were from a walk today through Hidden Valley Park in Burlington. With their giant wingspans, two turkey vultures were gliding above. And at one point, a rabbit hopped out onto the trail.
