8th Day of Ramadan
Al-Hamdu Lillah, today was the 8th day of the blessed month of Ramadan. Its first few days contained reconnecting with people and wishing them well for this special month of fasting and worship.
The below photos were taken during today's walk in Sherwood Forest Park in Burlington. It was especially nice to see some beautiful red and often elusive cardinals, and to be by the water watching a pair of mallards.

Walking through a forest during spring allows you to see and walk through parts of the forest soon to be hidden amidst the leaves and brush.

InshAllah in a few weeks, the grass will begin to carpet the earths surface, leaves bursting with eye capturing green, tweets of the numerous species of birds communicating, a fresh new opportunity to begin new.

Incredible to think that in a month or so this spot will be lush with greenery, insha Allah. Love the duck video with the sound of the birds. So soothing.
