In the early hours of an August night
The moon was especially full and bright

It was the Sturgeon Moon I came to know
And it set my innermost thoughts aglow

And to its Maker offer thanks and praise

And went to the balcony, and looked up

Its surface seen by the unaided eye

By a clear dark night, a sight to behold

In a joyful bliss, just the moon and I
I stared in sweet silence, and hours passed by

As I pondered this signpost on the quest
It as the night's host, and I as its guest

The wonders of Allah can bring bliss in the simplest of moments. We often over complicate our lives in pursuit of feelings that we attribute to happiness.
